On January 27, 2025  Donald Trump was inaugurated the 47th President of the USA.
 
The Empress Ed-venture series documents how his order to deport immigrants living illegally in the USA back to their home countries served as the catalyst for the African Renaissance. 
 
It was this order and that of, the then Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, that served as the catalyst that propelled Jamaicans in the diaspora to take actions that pressure corporations in Jamaica to end the exploitation of Jamaican workers. 
 
The start of the African renaissance was born when Jamaicans in the diaspora stood in solidarity with Jamaicas on the island who were demanding wage increases.
 
These are the journals that I began writing for my grandchildren in 2025. They are reflections of my ed-ventures after leaving Jamaica at 13 years of age until my return to Jamaica at the age of 50.
