Empress Zaria
Karen aka Empress Zaria is a returnee to Jamaica after 20 years of teaching English to children and adults in the USA, China, and most recently, Cameroon, Africa.
​
Karen was one of only 200 U.S.citizens selected for the 2022-2023 English Language Fellow Program where she facilitated professional development workshops and organized conferences for Cameroon’s English Language & Literature Teachers Association, CAMELA.
As a cultural ambassador Karen is a fervent advocate for women's empowerment, English Language Literacy, and cultural exchange through travel.
